Dear Mr. Killen,
I am writing this letter on behalf of my husband and myself to let you know how pleased we are with the excellent assistance we are receiving from your staff, in particular Howard Landau, Michele Meitz and Phylis Mendelsohn.
Last Spring I realized that our financial situation was dire and I became more frustrated after speaking to financial advisors through my job, three banking institutions, an investment broker and Revenue Canada. No one explained themselves to me in a way I could understand, they all said “file for bankruptcy!” I desperately needed assistance. I looked in the yellow pages, read a notice that said “Read first if you are thinking about Bankruptcy”. I read it and on the next page was your ad that stated open at night so I called, spoke with Michele Meitz who explained everything to me and what my options were. I made an appointment and met with Phylis who spent a great deal of time with me going over my expenses. Later my husband and I came in twice and worked out a proposal with the help of Michele and Howard. Howard and staff have always been very helpful when I continue to call with my questions about creditors and the proposal.
From the first time I arrived at your office and with subsequent visits, your staff have always been friendly and very courteous and never made us feel uneasy. You cannot imagine what we have been through these past few months and with the help from your office we do see some light at the end of our tunnel.
We realize that many people are in the same situation as my husband and I, however, no one really talks about their financial difficulties, otherwise I would tell everyone who would listen to contact your office and seek the help they need.
Thank you again for the yellow pages ad and I know it will save others as it has us.
